I've always loved superhero media, especially superhero films. Because of that, Meritorious Man became the first short film I've ever fully directed, along with my good friend and star of the film, Andres Coronel, as assistant director. The film is about a teleporting superhero who finds himself without purpose or the drive to continue his superhero escapades after his entire team is killed by his arch-nemesis Sonic Siren. Written by myself and Wyatt Hervey, it features a colorful cast of superpowered characters portrayed by Aidan Liston, Junie Paul, Solomon Perillo, and many more amazing actors and actresses. Photographed by Zander Renzi, edited by Wyatt Hervey, and with lighting by Yamil Nassif-Sanchez, Meritorious Man is expected to come out by the end of 2026.
Noah & Andres: Lunchtime is a comedic production myself and the star Andres Coronel filmed in just over 2 hours' time on a Saturday in 2023 using solely my phone. It follows a world-famous chef preparing an extravagant dinner for a very high-class customer, although the meal does not go over as expected.
Slumber Spar was originally planned to be Andres Coronel and Solomon Perillo's entry into the SkillsUSA Regional Film Competition, however there were too many competitors, so we had our own mini competition to decide who would get to participate. Slumber Spar was one of the winners, so it was remade for the competition, and then a third time in 2025 simply for fun.
Pizza Fight is another example of a comedic short film made within a very short span of time, that being around 1Β½ hours. It features two friends fighting due to a sudden lack of pizza in the household. This was also filmed on my iPhone, and the filming occurred during a sleepover after the first few days of college.
Local reporting gets interesting when the crew decides to be more creative than they should and involve themselves in what they are covering. MTPP was a project for school and was written and directed by my costar Zander Renzi.
Two friends get sent to detention for violating the school dress code, so they attempt to escape their unfair imprisonment with the help of the other students trapped alongside them. This film was a class project and I both acted in it as well as directed the first scene.
When dared to do increasingly devious activities, Gary must pass all of his friendβs tests in order to get his prize money before he is caught... or worse. This short film was our submission for the 2024 SkillsUSA States competition and won 2nd place in the state.
Dreamcatcher Technologies is the brainchild of Cinacor Studios director Andres Coronel. An analog horror series, it follows the fictional Dreamcatcher Technologies company as they seek to induce and record lucid dreams, no matter the detriment to their patients. While I did not have a hand in creating this film, I did provide a couple songs for the next two releases, those being Guide to a Good Night's Test and Archives. Andres is currently working on the next Dreamcatcher release.
